Daniel Antonio Tercero Hernandez
Executive Director
Daniel took over as Executive Director in January, 2016. He started working for the ministry in August, 2012 as the education coordinator. Daniel is in charge to oversee and lead all the operations in Honduras and work with national and international donors and volunteers. He has a degree in mathematics and has a masters degree in Business Management and Finance. He and his wife Alejandrina live in El Eden and have two children Daniela, 6 years old and Benjamin, 5 years old.

Antony Rodriguez
Assistant Director
After many years working as one of the Sal y Luz translators and 5 years working as our education coordinator, in May 2025, Antony was promoted to serve as the assistant director. He is very excited with this new role and ready to keep supporting the Sal y Luz operations every day. Antony lives in Los Naranjos with his wife Karina and he loves to play keyboard and guitar. Let’s pray for him as he takes the challenge in his career.

Dr. Lesbin Javier Velásquez
Medical Program Coordinator
Dr. Javier started working for the ministry in January of 2017 as our medical coordinator, he leads the medical staff and see patients every day in the clinic. Beside, he coordinates medical and dental brigades throughout the year in the communities surrounding the lake yojoa. He went to medical school to UNAH, Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Javier is married with Carolina and they have a son, Kyran, 2 years old.

Lesbia Hernandez
Dentist
Dr. Lesbia is our full-time dentist. She graduated from San Pedro Sula Dental School in 2016 and has since worked in various clinics. She loves walking and hiking with friends. Lesbia lives in Peña Blanca and her favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9.
Nicolle Rodriguez
Dental Assistant
Nicolle is our dental assistant; she is 19 years old and just graduate as a nurse assistant in a local school. She lives in Los Naranjos with her parents and loves listening to music and singing in the church choir. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalms 23:1
Jefry Diaz
Microcredit Coordinator
Jefry is our Microcredit Program Coordinator and a former student of our education program, which he joined at age 9. He holds a degree in Business Administration and is passionate about helping families and small businesses grow through financial opportunity. Jefry lives in Nueva Esperanza with his mother..

Sarahí Diaz
Accountant/Administration
Sarahi’s journey is a beautiful example of growth and purpose. She was once a student in our education program, starting in elementary school and continuing all the way through college. Today, she returns as our Accountant Administrator, using her degree in Public Accounting and Finance and years of professional experience to support and strengthen our financial operations. Sarahi lives in Peña Blanca
Sarahi’s is guided by her favorite scripture, Jeremiah 29:11, which reflects her faith, hope, and the passion she brings to her work every day.
Obed Martinez
Education Coordinator
Obed is our education program coordinator. He is 27 years old and lives in Peña Blanca. He holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and has experience working on educational projects for other organizations. Obed plays several musical instruments and belongs to a local Christian band. We hope that with Obed’s guidance we can further expand our program.
Milton Leonel Ortiz
Community Development Coordinator
Milton is responsible for monitoring the projects developed by the ministry; also he makes sure that the computer equipment works properly. Milton is studying computer engineering. He lives in Peña Blanca with his wife Lilian.

Carolina Aleman
Pharmacist
Carolina has worked as a nurse for Ministerio Sal y Luz Clinic since 2008. She lived and went to school in Rio Lindo. Carolina is married and lives with her husband in Pena Blanca. Carolina is a wonderful cook and helps with dinners and parties at the clinic.

Mayli Palomo
Nurse/Triage
We also welcome nurse Mayli Palomo. She is in charge of the triage area and helps the doctor to coordinate all the nurses in the clinic. She has training as a nurse and an Operating room instrumentalist. She has a lot of experience working in different clinical areas. Mayli lives in Las Vegas, Santa Barbara with her husband and two children.
Lizzy Duron
Nurse
Lizzy’s story is one of faithfulness and belonging. She first became part of our ministry family as a young girl in 1st grade through our education program. Over the years, she has grown alongside the ministry, and today she serves as our Secretary and Receptionist, where she is often the first warm smile that greets patients and visitors each day. Lizzy lives in San Buena Ventura with her parents and two brothers.
Jackelin Garcia Coto
Laboratory Technician
Jacky is a nurse at Ministerio Sal y Luz Clinic and is responsible for taking vital signs after the patients are checked in. Jacky has worked for Ministerio Sal y Luz since 2005. She and her daughter, Esther, live in El Jaral.

Joel Cano
Evangelism Program Coordinator
Joel is our clinic’s chaplain. He has the opportunity to spend time with our patients and share the gospel. He also coordinates our ministry’s evangelism program and works with national and international pastors and volunteers to develop evangelistic initiatives. Joel lives in Peña Blanca, and his favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 31:3.
Rigo Muñoz
Maintenance
Rigo is in charge of maintenance of the grounds and vehicles at the clinic. He is also a great bus driver. Rigo has been working for Ministerio Sal y Luz since 2007. He and his wife Teresa live in El Eden and have two children and several grandchildren. Rigo grew up and attended school in El Tigre.

Housekeeper
Karlita is in charge of keeping the clinic clean during the day. She enjoys spending time with her children.

Bayron Leonel Gamero
Security Guard
Bayron has worked for Sal y Luz since May 2017, he is in charge of security, he and his wife Maria live in the community of Tapiquilares and have 3 daughters
