Covenant Presbyterian Church Honduras Trip

Our tentative plans are as follows: We are planning to install a clean water project in a remote area teams have been working in for several years. There will be installation involved and education for the families and children in the schools in that community and possibly other communities using the water. There will be another team from Jackson going a day later and returning a day later than our team and they will be doing construction and have a medical team, so they might be able to use some of our team at least a few days to join in their medical clinic with prayers with patients and pharmacy and wherever they may need a hand (or two hands). We will have funds for construction and Daniel (Director of Sal y Luz) has not told us yet what we may be working on. Last year we added a kindergarten room onto an existing school in this same community getting the water system. Other teams have added concrete floors and indoor bathroom for families who need them. We will have clothing distribution of clothes made by women in our churches that sew all year long for the children. As members join the team, we sometimes add more activities and change our ministry areas as we use the talents God has given those who join the team. Once you commit, tell us what else you would like to be involved in and we will try our best to incorporate it into our team.
